We collect information you provide directly, including your name, phone number, CNIC (for verified sellers/drivers), email address, delivery address, and transaction history. We also automatically collect device information and usage data to improve our platform.
To provide the Bannu Online Bazar App services (including Ride-Hailing), we request specific device permissions: 1. Location Data: We collect precise location data (GPS) for ride-hailing to connect riders and drivers, calculate fares, and track rides. 2. Camera & Storage: Required to upload profile photos and verify CNIC documents. 3. Notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send real-time alerts about your orders and ride status.
Your information is used to process orders, facilitate buyer-seller communication, track and manage rides, verify seller/driver identities, prevent fraud, and personalize your experience on our platform.
Bannu Online Bazar uses WhatsApp as a primary communication channel. When you click 'Contact Seller', your message goes directly to the seller. We do not intercept these conversations. Driver details (phone, vehicle info) are only shared with the assigned rider.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, JWT authentication, bcrypt password hashing, and PostgreSQL row-level security. We use Cloudflare DDoS protection and regularly audit our systems for vulnerabilities.
User data is retained for legal and tax purposes. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at info@bannuonlinebazar.com or through the App settings.
We use Google Cloud Platform (Google Maps API) for routing, Firebase for push notifications, and Hetzner for hosting. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to third parties.
